This week I've been mostly...

Working...on the most amazing fashion shoot at Adare Manor! Brilliant photographers, gorgeous models, beautiful dresses, stunning hair - all in fabulous surroundings. I can't wait to see the images but meanwhile here's a few sneak peaks (including me struggling to reach to apply makeup to the very tall and beautiful Alona!)

Trying...the new foundation from Maybelline - Dream Nude Airfoam. Its a mouse type product - you shake the can and out comes a MASSIVE amount of foam! Its extremely sheer (concealor definitely required!)and is very natural looking however, I found it a bit drying. I'd recommend it as a tinted moisturiser for an oily skin - lightweight coverage without the shine!

Learning... a lot! I started evening classes this week, fashion and art! Its been a while since I've taken a class and it was lovely to get that back to school feeling! Was very excited to sew a straight line (well straight-ish) and really enjoyed the portrait drawing! Bit early to share the pictures but maybe in a couple of weeks!

Attacking...a horrible spot with Dermologica's Multivitamin Thermafoliant and Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque - a brilliant combination that really does wonders on problem skin while increasing moisture levels and removing dead flaking skin! Really recommend it!

Doing...up a list of stands to visit at this years IMATs in London - can't wait to check out Terry Barber from MAC and see Warwick Davis being transformed into the goblin by Harry Potter makeup artist Nick Dudman!

Enjoying...the beautiful scenery at GarryKennedy in Co.Tipperary. Well worth a visit for a walk around the lake and lunch at Larkins!

* With many thanks to the team on Saturday: Photographers Jody Neville, Kevin Murphy, Dave Hunt - Designer Marion Murphy Cooney - Models Alona Cuprina, Alanagh Hunt and Tatiana - Hair Sarah Hickey

This week I've been mostly...

Loving..the new Lancome Teint Idole 24h foundation. It glides on beautifully, gives great coverage without looking mask-like and really does stay put (although not for 24 hours to be honest!) I really like the range of shades too - much less limiting than Chanel has been lately. Lancome counters are offering a 7 day trial at the moment so well worth giving it a go.

Hating...the dregs of the sales! Come on spring drops! Thankfully new season pieces are slowly edging their way into the high street and I picked up this fab gĂșna in River Island.

Trying...to relax and stop thinking ten steps ahead about whats coming next. I have a planning addiction. Need to learn to let life just happen. Acupuncture is booked for next week with Marese McElduf who is amazing!

Working...On inspiration for an upcoming photoshoot in Adare Manor. Love this shot for Vogue with the cast of Downton Abbey. Feeling the 1920's Great Gatsby vibe..and what a venue! Adare Manor is gorgeous! Will nab some behind the scene's shots for next week!

Doing...a photoshoot with Aoife Hannon, a milliner from Kerry who's hats have attended Will and Kates weddings (on some posh heads of course!).

Learning...from the best! I had a masterclass with Zoe Clarke this week and as well as getting brilliant tips and guidance from her I met some really lovely makeup artists from around the country who were all balancing makeup careers with other jobs/being mums/planning weddings. It was really nice to chat about the industry and looking forward to making it a regular thing.
